1: Remove the top and bottom of the pineapple.
2: Set the pineapple upright on its flat base. Using a serrated knife, cut off segments of the pineapple skin from top to bottom.
3: Remove the dark knobs with a melon baller or potato peeler.
4: Slice the pineapple into rings.
5: Cut out the center core of each of the rings
